Talent Prize 2010
Premio Arti Visive
The Talent Prize is a competition for young artists born after 1970 who express themselves through different visual arts: painting, sculpture, photography, video installations.
The prize is conceived and organized by Guido Talarico Editore, with the support from the Fondazione Roma and sponsored by the City of Rome, the Superintendence of Cultural Heritage and Zètema Progetto Cultura.
This year's winner, Giovanni Ozzola, presents a video ( Superficiale - Under My Skin) of two minutes and thirteen seconds about sunset. The light filters through the window of the studio and slides repeatedly on the wall.
The other nine finalists are: Lorenzo Cassarà with the photo Care ut Valeas, Adele Ceraudo with the painting Il fuoco non brucia; Manuele Cerutti with a work titled Anche il resto della famiglia s’era fatto taciturno; Raffaele Crispino with Giovine Italia; Sabine Delafon with the sculpture Breathing Attenti, 2001-2010, Francesco Fossati with the installation Artistrun spaces; Andrea Galvani with the photo La morte di un'immagine #9, Paolo Penna with the video Rubbernecking and Luca Trevisani with installation La rosa dei venti è senza spine.
The winner of the Fondazione Roma Special Prize is Mimmo Centonze with the painting titled Capannone.
